Colorado Criminal Records Search

NOTE: This service applies ONLY to situations involving Colorado state courts and law enforcement.

The first step in attempting to seal or expunge a Colorado record is to determine exactly what information appears on the record. The only comprehensive way to do that is to perform searches in the databases of the Colorado statewide court system (which includes records of criminal court proceedings) and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation (which includes records of arrests by Colorado law enforcement agencies).

We are available to perform these searches and analyze the results to determine whether you may be eligible under Colorado law to have information removed from your public record.

Once we receive your order, we will contact you by the next business day for more details so that we can perform the most effective search. Most searches can be completed within a week, though it could take longer if it become necessary to perform a deeper search of court archives (this sometimes happens with cases that are over a decade old). If we determine that you are eligible for information to be sealed or expunged under Colorado law, the $250 fee for this initial background check will be applied as a credit toward further legal fees involved in the sealing or expungement process, if you are interested in pursuing that.
